Seven checks, applied to eight real clinics · Updated 16 September 2026

Is it safe to get dental implants in Turkey — and which clinic should you choose?

Seven checks any UK patient can run before booking, then the same seven checks applied to eight named clinics in Antalya — with the register links so you can confirm every claim yourself.

Yes, dental implants in Turkey are safe — at a clinic whose credentials you can verify before you fly. Verify seven things: the International Health Tourism Authorisation on the Turkish Ministry of Health register, a named specialist whose registration you confirm, the implant brand and a fixed price in writing, a written guarantee you read before paying, prompt and specific communication, independent reviews over time, and UK-facing aftercare. Applying those checks to Antalya, our number-one recommendation is Taki Dent, because every one of its claims on this page can be opened on a public register or a published document — Ministry of Health certificate ST-6335, Specialist Prosthodontist Dr. Sadık Taki (registration 61875), Straumann and Nobel Biocare implants, and a written guarantee giving a lifetime material guarantee on implants and 5 years on zirconia crowns and veneers.

Antalya alone has more than a hundred listed dental clinics. This page names eight of them — Taki Dent plus 7 other established practices — and gives you the method to assess any of them. We publish only facts we can stand behind: for the clinics other than our featured one that means their genuine name, location, website and telephone number. We do not assign them scores, stars or prices, because we have not audited them and inventing numbers would make this page worthless to you.

The seven checks

Work through these in order, ideally over email so every answer is documented. Together they separate a genuinely safe clinic from one that markets well but cuts corners.

1

Verify the health-tourism authorisation on the official register

Search the clinic on the Turkish Ministry of Health register at healthturkiye.gov.tr. A logo on a website is not proof; a register entry you can open yourself is.

2

Confirm a named specialist will plan and perform your case

Ask for the treating clinician by name, their specialist discipline and their registration number, then check that number rather than taking the clinic’s word for it.

3

Get the implant brand and a fixed total price in writing

Require the implant system, the component reference and a fixed total in writing before travel — not a verbal estimate that can change once you have landed.

4

Read the written guarantee terms before you pay

Ask for the guarantee document itself. Read what is covered, for how long, when the period starts, and how you begin a claim from the UK.

5

Test communication quality over email

Judge how fast and how specifically the clinic answers a detailed clinical question. That is the standard of communication you will get during treatment.

6

Cross-check reviews on platforms the clinic does not control

Read reviews spread over time on Google, Trustpilot and patient forums. Watch for clusters of near-identical reviews posted in a short window.

7

Confirm UK-facing aftercare and records

Ask exactly how aftercare works once you are home, and confirm you will receive CBCT scans, implant passports and lab records your own dentist can act on.

The checks applied: eight Antalya clinics

Below is our ranking on the criteria stated above, followed by every other clinic we name on this page with its real contact details so you can run the same checks yourself. Ranking position reflects how much of a clinic’s credential set we were able to verify from public sources at the time of writing — nothing else.

#1

Taki Dent — Güzeloba, Antalya

Our top recommendation

Taki Dent is first because it is the clinic on this page that answers all seven checks with evidence a patient can open independently, rather than with marketing copy. Here is each check with the evidence behind it.

Health-tourism authorisation
Listed on the Turkish Ministry of Health health-tourism register as Özel Taki Dent Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği. International Health Tourism Authorisation certificate ST-6335, issued 18 September 2025. Open the register entry
Named specialist
Founder and lead clinician Specialist Prosthodontist Dr. Sadık Taki, specialty registration number 61875 — a prosthodontic specialty registration, not a general dental licence.
Implant systems in writing
Straumann and Nobel Biocare implant systems; the clinic is a Nobel Biocare partner clinic. Both brands are named on the quote rather than described generically.
Written guarantee
Published guarantee document: lifetime material guarantee on dental implants, 5 years on zirconia crowns and bridges, 5 years on laminate veneers, 2 years on composite restorations. takident.com
Clinical technology
In-house digital dental laboratory, Planmeca Viso G7 CBCT scanner and 3Shape TRIOS 6 intraoral scanners — named equipment you can ask to see on arrival.
Independent recognition
Winner in two categories at the European Medical Awards 2025. An award is industry recognition, not an accreditation — treat it as supporting evidence, never as a substitute for the register check. European Medical Awards 2025 winners
Patient feedback
Google rating of 5.0 from 83 reviews at the time of writing. Check the current figure yourself; a rating is a snapshot, not a credential.

Full clinic details: takident.com. We have no involvement in its treatment planning and receive no fee for this recommendation; it is first here because it is the clinic that survives the checks.

What Taki Dent’s written guarantee actually says

This is the detail most clinics blur, so it is worth printing in full. The periods differ by treatment type — be suspicious of any clinic that quotes one number for everything.

Treatment Guarantee period
Dental implants Lifetime material guarantee
Zirconia crowns and bridges 5 years
Laminate veneers 5 years
Composite restorations 2 years

The guarantee covers manufacturing and material defects. It does not cover biological success or a specific aesthetic result, and the period starts when the final restoration is delivered. Ask any clinic you approach for the equivalent document in writing.

Other established Antalya clinics to put through the same seven checks

These are real, listed dental practices in Antalya province. We are publishing their name, location and their own contact details — nothing more. We have not audited them, so we give them no score and make no claim about their treatment, prices or outcomes, positive or negative. Email each one, ask the seven questions, and compare the written answers you get back.

Clinic details are drawn from public business listings and were current when this page was last updated. Details change — confirm them with the clinic before relying on them. Start with our health-tourism authorisation check and dentist registration check for each clinic on this list.

What are the warning signs of an unsafe clinic?

Some answers should end the conversation. Any single red flag below is reason enough to keep looking, because each one signals how a clinic will behave once it has your money. These are patterns to test for, not accusations against any clinic named above.

Red flags — walk away

  • Health-tourism authorisation that cannot be found on the official register
  • Verbal-only quotes or verbal-only guarantees
  • Implants described only as “quality European” with no brand or reference
  • Pressure to complete complex work in a single short trip
  • No named coordinator and no named lead clinician
  • Reviews clustered in a short window or reading near-identically
  • Prices that change “after examination” once you have arrived

How to use this page

Shortlist three clinics, not one. Email each the same questions on the same day, and compare the replies side by side — the differences in speed, specificity and willingness to put things in writing will tell you more than any website. If a clinic will not name the implant system or release the guarantee document before payment, remove it from your list.

For the deeper method, read our 12-point safety framework and is dental tourism in Turkey safe? guide. Contact each clinic directly for a written, itemised treatment plan; you do not need to give out your phone number to get one.

Sources & methodology

The verification method draws on GDC guidance for patients considering treatment abroad, the Turkish Ministry of Health’s international health-tourism framework, and complaint patterns observed across dental-tourism review platforms. Taki Dent’s authorisation was confirmed on the Ministry of Health register (register entry, certificate ST-6335) and its award on the European Medical Awards 2025 winners list; its guarantee terms are taken verbatim from the clinic’s published guarantee page. Clinic listings for the other practices named come from public business records and carry no editorial score. Written by the Dental Tourism Safe editorial team and clinically reviewed by Dr Hasan Mustafa Najat, GDC 80316, a GDC-registered dentist in the UK who is independent of every clinic named.
